Sp|der-man 3

I finally caught Sp|der-man 3 yesterday!

It was a good 2.5+ hour show, which I thought was much better than the previous 2. There was more character development and inner struggles.

When MJ kept wanting to open up to P@rker and share with him how she felt about what had happened to her career, he was just more absorbed in himself and his 2 careers. The emotional pain she was going through was well shown and sufficient.

When P@rker told his Aunt that he wanted to marry MJ, she told him that a husband must be able to put his wife first. Later on he realised how he was not doing that.

When P@rker allowed hatred and revenge to overwhelm his thoughts, the black goo was attracted to him and stuck on to him. Symbiotic it was. Now I realise what it means. The black stuff showed characteristics of aggression and as it was symbiotic, it required a host to continue to survive and grow. The source of food was probably the hatred and revenge. He started to change and become a very different person. It was only when he decided to change that he did. He tore the black stuff off him and he went to apologise to the people he hurt.

The black stuff grabbed hold of another person. Even though he was set free from it, he still went after it and was destroyed along with it in the end. How important it is to flee from any hint of ungodly anger and hatred. It can start from a seed and grow.

Another important lesson, it is so important to forgive.
